God never fails. He fulfills his promises for his people.
His wonders could be easily accounted for in the life of King David, who hailed from a common family in a small town, and he held no significant position among his siblings; yet God had a special plan for his life.
He promised to make him the king of Israel. (1 Samuel 16).
The Creator raised David from a very lowly position to a high ranking one.
He made him prevail over his life battles and crowned him as the rightful king of Israel – as He earlier promised him.
The scripture testified,
“…So David went on and became great, and the Lord of hosts was with him” (1 Chronicles 11:9).
Lesson on God’s Promises
God does not lie, and he will not change his position towards his children.
He will fulfill whatever he has promised us – under whatever condition.
Although life battle may be tough and the going may be tough, but children of God will ultimately have victory.
Since God never compromised a promise, he will not change his mind, but he will stand by his word to see his children sharing testimony.
Since the heavenly Father ever deliver on promises, all what his children should do it to profess their faith in him.
Yes, a person that is passing through a challenging moment may be tempted to doubt God.
But he or she should summon courage to keep confessing his trust in God.
They will remain temporal for anyone who keep professing his faith in God.
In fact, the Scripture stated,
“Since ancient times no one has heard or perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who intervenes for those who wait for him. (Isaiah 64:4 NEB).
Even for better comprehension, another Bible verse stated,
“But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him. (1 Corinthians 2:9 NKJV)
Prayer of Affirmation for God’s Promises
Dear God, please help me to reserve my unwavering faith in you under whatever condition.
Please declare your promises of goodness over my life.
I know that your promises are sure, and they will truly come to pass.
Therefore, I ask that you please declare into my life: Victory over sickness, triumph over adversity, and testimony over trials.
Grant me good health, long life, and prosperity, and help me to enjoy all your goodness throughout the days of my life.
For in the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
