The Way of God may be Different

We human beings must always reference God for his supremacy.

We must understand that he is different from us, and his ways are not always the same as ours.

A good lesson about this subject can be learned from the Bible when one of King David’s servants passionately served God to a dissatisfaction.

A man called Uzza attempted to help out when some priests made a mistake and could have dropped God’s Ark of Covenant. (1 Chronicles 13).

Uzza ran to help safeguard the Ark of God’s Covenant from falling.

To everyone’s surprise, Uzza’s action irritated God because he touched his Ark, and he struck him to death immediately. The bible reported,

“Then the anger of the Lord was aroused against Uzza, and He struck him because he put his hand to the ark; and he died there before God” (1 Chronicles 13:10).

More Bibbiblele Example

Besides Uzza providing unacceptable service to God during David’s tenure, several other people have stumbled in similar exploits.

Korah, Dathan, and Abiram poked their noses where they did not belong, and “they got burnt” in the process.

The trio insinuated crisis among the Isrealites when they sojourned in the wilderness.

They organized a revolt against Moses and challenged his right of leadership.

The men also polluted people’s minds and were able to win at least 250 renown Israelite leaders to their caucus.

All colluded against Moses and accused him of lording himself over them. The Bible reported,

They came as a group to speak to Moses and Aaron and said, “You have gone too far.

All the People are holy, every one of them, and the Lord is among them.

So why do you put yourselves above all the people of the Lord?” (Numbers 16:3 EXB)

The people insulted Moses further when he attempted to bring them closer. It is reported,

Then Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab; but they said [defiantly], “We will not come up. Is it a small thing that you have brought us up out of a land [of plenty] flowing with milk and honey to kill us in the wilderness, but you would also lord it over us?

Indeed, you have not brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey, nor given us an inheritance of fields and vineyards. Will you gouge out the eyes of these men? We will not come up!” (Numbers 16:12-14 AMP)

Boomerang!

The end game wasn’t palatable for the wilderness gangsters. About 250 of them faced the fierce anger of God and died mysteriously.

God made the earth to open up and swallow them alive. (Numbers 16:31-35).

As if the trouble was not enough, more people challenged Moses and Aaron in protest for the rebels that died.

God was provoked further, and he caused additional 14,700 people to died (Numbers 16:49).

Very Important Lessons about – The Way of God

Don’t forget: The way of God may not be same as ours!

warningAll people – including Christians must be careful not to be over-zealous when dealing with God.

No matter how much we care about him, we must understand that it may be risky to handle his business anyhow.

No one should meddle with God’s business uninvited, or else he or she risks facing some consequences.

God’s way may not necessarily be same as ours!

It is important that everyone (for especially the so-called believers) allow God to handle his own business as he pleases – and only to get involved whenever proper invitation is extended to us.

Don’t get involved in a business that doesn’t concern you!

Some actions are lightly offensive to God, but others are considered as significant. Those significant ones are very BIG in his sight.

For example, it will be a worse case scenario for anyone to attempt to judge God himself!

hammerNo one is authorized to judge God under whatever condition.

He is Jehovah – the Creator of heaven and earth, and he deserves to be hallowed always.

The way of God may not be same as ours! He is the Porter, and we are the clay! He made us, but we did not make him.

The Creator can choose to act at will, and no one is qualified to question his decisions.

For example, a person who criticizes any servant of God may be infuriating God towards his actions – Even though such person may have presumed his criticism is justifiable based on what he knows.

Jehovah has not assigned anyone to judge his servants anyhow.

The Creator is competent enough to weigh every action that his servants carry out, and he reserves the right to judge them as he pleases.

Remember: The way of God may not be same as ours!

The Creator may not need our assistance to chastise any of his servants that violate his rules – In as much their deeds may appear fit for our criticisms.

Truly, some gospel ministers (like other regular human beings) may have made glaring mistakes that anyone can recognize. Yet, it is still none of our business to accuse or abuse them.

The board or any responsible committee assigned for the task of overseeing their activities should be allowed to carry out the task.

Activities of God’s ministers must not be considered as open matter for every Dick and Harry to dabble into.

In short, God is strong enough to handle his own business, and he may or may not choose us to meddle.

We must remain silent and let God have his way, or until we are commissioned to get involved.

Prayer to Honor “The Way of God”

prayerDear God, please help me to honor your way and respect your viewpoint on all matters.

Help me to stay clear of trouble and not get involved in a business that will boomerang!

Please give me ability to mind my own business and honorably serve you always.

Let your Holy Spirit help me to be sensitive in my dealing with you and your servants.

Create your fear in my heart to serve you with dignity so that I can qualify for your blessings – and not your wrath.

Empower me to make positive contributions into your gospel business so that it can expand and be more profiting for your kingdom.

Please count me worthy to make it to your presence in heaven to hear the word “Welcome home my good son (daughter).”

For in the name of Jesus Christ I have prayed. Amen!
